Twitch Drops

Track, earn, and automatically claim Twitch Drops while you watch.

StreamNook tracks your Twitch Drops, earns progress as you watch, and can claim finished Drops for you. Once it is set up, you mostly leave it alone.

Connect Drops

Drops use a one-time sign-in that is separate from your main Twitch login.

Open the Drops center

Click the gift icon in the title bar or press Ctrl+Shift+D.

Sign in for Drops

StreamNook shows a code and a Twitch link. Open the link, enter the code, and approve. This is only required once.

When Drops are connected, the gift icon in the title bar shows live progress while you are earning.

The Drops center

The Drops center has a few views:

  • Campaigns: every active Drop campaign, shown as a grid of games. The game you are currently earning in is pinned to the top, followed by your favorites. Search by game or campaign name.
  • Inventory: Drops you are working on and Drops you have claimed, filterable by status.
  • Stats: totals such as Drops claimed, points earned, and recent activity.

Each campaign card shows its progress and how many Drops are in progress.

How earning works

  • Progress is earned for the channel you are actively watching, as long as the video is playing. Pausing pauses progress.
  • Drop progress is tracked on your account, not per channel, so you keep your progress if you switch to another channel running the same campaign.
  • StreamNook refreshes your progress regularly so the numbers stay current.

Claiming

By default, StreamNook claims Drops for you the moment they finish. You can change this in Settings (Drops options):

  • Auto-claim Drops: claim finished Drops automatically. On by default.
  • Notify when a Drop is ready: get a heads-up when something is claimable.
  • Notify when a Drop is claimed: get a confirmation on auto-claim.

If you prefer to claim manually, turn auto-claim off and use the claim button on each Drop in the inventory.

Favorites

Star a game in the Drops center to keep it near the top of your campaign list. Favorites only affect sorting, so they are a convenience, not a setting that changes what you earn.

Note

Some campaigns are limited to specific channels. Those still appear so you can see them, but you earn their Drops only while watching an eligible channel.

Disconnecting

To sign out of Drops, use the Drops logout option. Your main Twitch login is unaffected.
