Channel Points

Collect bonus points automatically, redeem rewards, unlock emotes, and join predictions.

StreamNook collects channel point bonuses for the stream you are watching and gives you a full reward menu so you can spend points without leaving the app.

Automatic bonus collection

When the bonus chest appears on the channel you are watching, StreamNook claims it for you. This is on by default. You can turn auto-claim off, and turn on a notification when points are claimed, in Settings (Drops and points options).

Your point balance for a channel, including the streamer's custom point name and icon, shows in the channel points menu.

Redeeming rewards

Open the channel points menu to see the channel's rewards. Rewards you cannot use yet (too few points, out of stock, on cooldown, or paused) are dimmed with the reason shown.

Pick a reward

Click a reward in the menu.

Confirm

Review the cost and confirm. If the reward needs text from you, a box appears first.

StreamNook supports the standard automatic rewards as well as the streamer's custom ones:

  • Highlight my message: type a message that gets highlighted in chat.
  • Unlock a random sub emote.
  • Choose an emote to unlock: pick from a grid.
  • Modify a single emote: turn a sub emote black-and-white, flipped, and so on.
  • Send a message in sub-only mode, and other custom rewards the channel offers.

When you unlock an emote, a reveal pops up so you can see what you got.

Predictions

When a channel runs a prediction, StreamNook shows the outcomes. Pick a side, enter how many points to spend, and submit before the window closes. Your points are locked until the streamer resolves the prediction.

Stats

The Drops center's stats view also tracks your lifetime channel points earned through StreamNook, alongside your Drops totals.

Tip

Collecting points across many channels at once is handled by an optional plugin rather than the core app, so the base app stays focused on the channel you are actually watching. See Plugins.
