Cosmetics

Cosmetics are how you personalize your StreamNook identity in chat and on your profile. You equip one item per category, and your choices sync across your StreamNook clients.

Where to equip cosmetics

Open Settings, Profile and go to the customize area. Each category shows what you own as tiles. Click a tile to equip it. The profile preview updates live.

Badges

StreamNook badge: every member has the default member badge. Support tiers and accolades add more badges you can equip. See Support tiers.
7TV badge: if you connect 7TV, you can show a 7TV badge you own.
Twitch badge: show a Twitch global badge you own.
Other badges: badges from FFZ, BTTV, Chatterino, and similar are picked up automatically. By default StreamNook shows all of them; once you customize your loadout, only the ones you tick are shown, in the order you choose.

A 7TV paint colors your display name with a gradient, solid color, or animated effect. Connect your 7TV account to use a paint you own. With the 7TV Paint profile theme, your paint also themes your profile background.

Paint display is adjustable in chat settings, including how strong paint shadows are and whether paints render on names and on mentions.

Atmospheres

Atmospheres are StreamNook's own animated profile backdrops. An Atmosphere themes your profile background and adds a matching wash to your chat messages, so your look follows you wherever you appear.

Pick one from the Atmospheres grid in your profile customization. The grid shows only the Atmospheres you have unlocked.
Most Atmospheres unlock with the Subscriber tier.
Some Atmospheres unlock through accolades and are then free to anyone who earned the accolade.

Profile themes

Your profile background can use one of three looks, depending on what you have unlocked:

Theme	What it does	How to get it
Tier aura	Background glows in your rank color.	Free for everyone.
7TV paint	Background uses your equipped 7TV paint.	Supporter tier.
Atmospheres	Animated backdrop that also themes your chat.	Subscriber tier, or an accolade.

Unlocks are permanent

Anything you unlock is yours to keep and re-equip. A cosmetic earned through a support tier or accolade stays available for good. Your cosmetics and member tenure are tied to your Twitch identity, so they carry across reinstalls and new devices.
